Welcome to this 3-week intro to yoga series. In this series, you will experience a taste of Iyengar Yoga and its benefits for your mind and body. All are welcome. In the registration form below, please make note of any health conditions you may be working with so I can better understand and prepare the class for you. To build a good foundation for your yoga practice, please plan on repeating the series for 6 – 12 months.
Online participants: Please have a mat and a yoga strap (or scarf) ready. A sturdy chair, 2 yoga blocks and blankets are also helpful, though they can be substituted with items found around the house. If possible, station yourself against a wall with your device set up about 8 feet away so that I can see you completely from head to toe. Connecting your laptop to a larger screen (e.g., your TV or desktop computer monitor) greatly improves your viewing.
For in-person attendees, please wear comfortable clothing. Mats and other props are provided; you are welcome to bring your own mat. The exact address will be sent upon registration and payment. My home studio is in the NoPa neighborhood, and there is a flight of stairs to walk up.
