This is a trip I’ve been envisioning for many years – to bring students/friends from the US to the region I grew up in. Before the pandemic, I was not able to organize such a trip as anytime I went back to Malaysia was spent with my parents. They passed away at the early onset of the pandemic shutdown, 18 months apart. It is only now I am ready to share this part of the world with everyone.
